Sabrina is our baby and our only mare. She is coming on well at four and a half we are really enjoying training this feisty little Frisian.
Pablo is five and a half years old but solid and safe to ride. He is around 13 hands and a dark bay. His breed is unknown, but he was born on the farm next door. He is probably an Arab cross Nooitgedacht cross thoroughbred. A hardy little monster going through his horsy teens, he is fast and very comfortable to ride.
Google is our newest boy. He has retired from his job as a jumping horse due to laminitis. He has found a safe home with us, doing trail riding. This Gentle giant was once a racehorse and found his way to South Africa from Austria as a two-year-old. He is perfect for beginner riders. He is 14 years old.
Ally (Alley cat) Obituary.
On July 30th we unfortunately had to put our sweet mare to rest, after fighting for 6 weeks to save her from a tick-born disease. We got Ally in 2019 and had her for 6 years before her parting. She was the most amazing horse who was gentle and easy going. She let you ride her in just a halter and was even taught to ride with just a neck rein. Ally was a special girl, who allowed Tori to advance in his riding, teaching him so much. She loved having her face brushed or stroked and would fall asleep when you brushed her mane.
Ally loved having her saddle taken off, and being let to have a roll on the beach. She was willing to try most things and could do jumping, dressage and even horse archery. She was the best trail riding horse who was extremely levelheaded about things that scared her (except for cows!). She never bolted off with Tori, and if Tori fell, she would wait for Tori to get back on and continue their ride. Ally was so incredibly important to us, and her passing was extremely hard. We will miss her everyday.
